RAISING CHILDREN IS DIFFICULT
ZOOM Martial arts classes provide you with a positive and effective way to impact all aspects of your child’s life. Martial arts improves children’s mental and physical behaviors by teaching them self-discipline, hard work, confidence, and respect all while promoting health and fitness.
your childhood outlook on fitness shapes you as an adult
Learning martial arts means learning about your body, establishing fitness goals and accomplishing them. Enjoying fitness as a child will create a positive outlook on health and exercise that they’ll maintain throughout their lives.
overweight children have low self-esteem
Zoom martial arts classes help students get in shape and lose weight while celebrating students as they are today. Children will gain self-esteem because they are learning new skills and receiving positive feedback from their instructors and classmates. While we focus on fun martial arts training, the cardiovascular and muscle toning elements of our classes promote weight loss.

CAMP BEGINS HERE
Martial arts + Gymnastics + Daily field trips = #awesome. For $225/week, your child will learn modern martial arts, self-defense and gymnastics, go on fun field trips, and develop leadership skills that will carry over into their schooling and other aspects of their lives.

2019 SUMMER CAMP
WHY CHOOSE RAISE LEADERS?
Our camp to counselor ratio is 1:8 for the juniors group (ages 6-8) and 1:10 for the seniors group (ages 9-14). We also have a leadership team member assigned to each counselor. We strive to provide our campers with a positive and individualized experience. Having a small camp allows us to help campers develop confidence, make friends and practice leadership. (In Florida, the law requires a 25:1 camper to counselor ratio).
Safety is paramount at Raise Leaders. All camp counselors must pass a nationwide background and drug screening and must hold current CPR certification. Our counselors are trained as mentors and participate in leadership training to ensure that campers have a positive experience.
Transportation: We transport campers in fully air-conditioned 15 Passenger Ford E-350 vans. Each camper is required to wear a seat belt. We have booster seats available for our smaller campers. Our drivers are subject to rigorous criminal background checks and must have clean driving records. Fun fact: You probably know our drivers! We hire drivers with a family relation to the Raise Leaders program, so more than likely their kids are campers with your kids!
Our camp is ACTIVE - Our campers run, kick, jump, sweat, train and play every day. TKD kids are fit kids and the summer is the best time to enhance fitness and martial arts skill levels. Our campers receive at least 2 to 4 hours of physical activity each day exceeding Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) standards.
Our camp is FUN - Our campers have a blast everyday! We go on daily field trips, teach exciting martial arts classes (like board breaking and jump kicks), play team sports at the park (yes, we love soccer).
Our camp is FRIENDLY - Our campers develop friendships that last a lifetime in a positive, motivating environment. Components of our curriculum include anti-bullying and the value of friendship.
Our camp promotes LEADERSHIP - Our campers say yes ma'am and yes sir and participate in group discussions about leadership, courtesy, integrity and responsibility.
