To make things easy, when you sign up you will be set up for a monthly subscription and payments will recur on the same date each month.
If you want to stop classes, itβs really easy. Go to raiseleadersnation.com/cancel and fill out our quick cancellation form.
*If you have more than one child, they can all train with the $100/membership. They just have to take the same class on the same screen as their sibling.
Optional fees: Belt testing $25 includes belt and board.
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO MY KIDS NEED?
None! Have your kids wear loose, comfortable shorts or pants and a t-shirt. If your child already has a uniform, they are welcome to wear that. If you have any gym mats or exercise mats, you can put those out, but they are not necessary for training.
HOW MUCH OF A TIME COMMITMENT DO I HAVE TO MAKE?
Very little. The goal is for the program to benefit families, including giving parents peace of mind and hopefully a small break. It takes around 5 minutes to register and 10 minutes to get set up with zoom. After that, your child will need to login 2x per week for one hour of instruction. Most kids are able to login and complete the class on their own. However, we recommend that someone is available to supervise during class.
WILL MY CHILD LEARN THE SAME THINGS IN A ZOOM CLASS AS THEY WOULD TRAINING AT A STUDIO?
Zoom martial arts classes offer most of the same training. However, there are some aspects of martial arts that are not practical and cannot be done at home. For example, students will learn the concepts of sparring and self-defense and will practice solo drills at home but cannot spar with one another in a Zoom class.
WILL STUDENTS IN ZOOM CLASSES TEST FOR BELTS?
Stripe and belt testing are an important part of the goal-setting and achievement aspects of martial arts training. Students will participate in stripe and belt tests on Zoom. When itβs time for belt testing, you will even have the option to do an at home board break.
MY CHILD CURRENTLY DOES OR HAS DONE MARTIAL ARTS AT ANOTHER STUDIO, CAN THEY DO ZOOM CLASSES?
Yes. All styles are welcome. By getting back to training, your child will find comfort in the aspects of martial arts that benefit them the most: Structure, discipline, a positive environment with instructors and friends, fun exercise and learning.
ARE ZOOM MARTIAL ARTS CLASSES SAFE?
Yes, we have experienced and skilled instructors. Our curriculum is designed to be easy to follow and emphasizes safety. However, it is always a good idea to have someone supervising your kids while they take class.
